Planning our Easter egg hunt in preschool
Hello, Friend!  We just got back from a long two weeks off for spring break!  It was so nice to recharge before we gear up for the end of the school year.  We have a LOT of fun activities planned over the next six weeks and up first is our annual Easter egg hunt.
Each year, we plan a fun filled day (usually our last day of preschool before Easter) that ends with a giant egg hunt.  In addition to the eggs we provide, we ask each family to donate 15-20 filled eggs.  While the children are in the classroom playing at egg themed centers, one of the teachers scurries around the yard hiding the abundance of eggs.  When all of the eggs have been found, the children return to the classroom to open their eggs and discover their new found treasures.  This is one of my favorite days of the year because it is filled with so much excitement and joy!
